A Victorian Silver Castle-Top Pill Box of shaped rectangular form with engine turned and scrolled decoration to the base and sides, the cover engraved with a scene depicting the Crystal Palace in London. The hinged lid opening to reveal with silver gilt interior, a cartouche to the reverse engraved with a slightly later presentation inscription; 'James Booth, a present from his weavers, Saltaire 1858'.

Saltaire Village is near Bradford in West Yorkshire, England. It is named after Sir Titus Salt who built a textile mill, known as Salts Mill and this village on the River Aire. Designed by architects, Lockwood and Mawson, Saltaire has beautiful Italianate architecture and a rich history. Saltaire Village was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001
