A beautiful Victorian ruby and pearl 5 stone ring in a heavy weight setting.
This stylish ring has two bright rubies and 3 half pearls set within gold claws and a 'cut-down' setting on a wide tapered shank with scalloped shoulders. It is beautifully made and sits comfortably on a larger finger.
This ring is quite unusual in that it is a heavy weight (it weighs 7.3g) and was probably made bespoke at the time. It is low set to the finger.
