This stylish Victorian Pearl & Ruby band ring was made in Birmingham, England in 1880.
It is set with 4 natural half pearls to the centre in a square design with a ruby set on either side within a carved star motif. The rubies are open to the reverse of the band allowing light through. They are a really pretty red in colour and well matched.
The pearls have a closed back and are in a spitch setting within a rub-over square border. This lovely ring is low set to the hand typical of the era and is made from 15ct yellow gold.
