Victorian Pearl and Diamond Flower Brooch circa 1890.
An elegant Victorian diamond flower brooch.
This lovely brooch has a central 'flower' designed with a natural pearl to the centre surrounded with rose-cut diamond set 'petals'. The brooch has rose-cut diamond set leaves and a further natural pearl to each end. The diamonds are all mounted in silver onto a gold bar.
The brooch has a sprung gold pin to the reverse typical of the era. It is finely made and in wonderful condition.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.
Measurements: Brooch 4.3cm in length, 1.5cm at widest point.
It weighs 4.3 grams.
Total diamond weight estimated 0.70 carats.
Pearls 4.5 - 5.5mm diameter (untested assumed natural saltwater).
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as silver and gold.
