An unusual late Victorian 15ct gold garnet & pearl ring.
The ring has a pretty garnet and pearl square panel with a central garnet surrounded with a border of seed pearls in a closed back echoing earlier Georgian design.
The ring has tapered shoulders each set with a small bright garnet in a starburst cutdown design open to the reverse onto a plain shank.
The ring sits low to the hand typical of the era. Due to the design we would suggest that this ring is not suitable for heavy everyday wear.
The ring is in excellent condition, the pearls are beautifully matched and in great conditon.
