Victorian Garnet Knot Stickpin circa 1890.
A stylish late Victorian stickpin.
The pin has a cabochon garnet set within a gold triple knot design. The garnet is set with a ropetwist detail around the edge and the knot is hollow - typical of the late 19th Century.
The pin is made in gold onto a gold 'twisted' pin.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.
Measurements: head 1.6 cm diameter, pin 8cm in length.
3.3 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - head tests as 15ct gold with 9ct gold pin.
