Victorian Coral Ivy Leaf Brooch circa 1890.

A wonderful late Victorian Ivy Leaf brooch.

The brooch is made from highly polished gold and is realistically figured with a coral bead set to the centre.

This beautiful brooch has a sprung pin to the reverse, it could easily be converted to a pendant as it has a loop to the top which could be used to convert the brooch to a pendant.

Ivy represents fidelity together with wedded love and friendship and Ivy has long been associated with weddings and affection.

Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.

Measurements: Brooch 2.5cm wide, 2.4 in length, 3.3 grams in weight.

Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests 15ct gold.
