Victorian Coral Ivy Leaf Brooch circa 1890.
A wonderful late Victorian Ivy Leaf brooch.
The brooch is made from highly polished gold and is realistically figured with a coral bead set to the centre.
This beautiful brooch has a sprung pin to the reverse, it could easily be converted to a pendant as it has a loop to the top which could be used to convert the brooch to a pendant.
Ivy represents fidelity together with wedded love and friendship and Ivy has long been associated with weddings and affection.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.
Measurements: Brooch 2.5cm wide, 2.4 in length, 3.3 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests 15ct gold.
