A beautiful Victorian banded agate snake locket.
This wonderful pendant has a cabochon banded agate set within a coiled snake which wraps around the stone in a continual circle representing the oroborus.
The pendant has a glazed locket section to the reverse, orginally for a keepsake of a lock of hair, it has a silk lining.
The pendant has a large runner ring to the top allowing for a heavy chain if necessary.
