Silver. Lobed circular form, the hinged lid inset with a Charles II silver Crown dated 1670, the interior inscribed 'From H.E. Lord Curzon, Viceroy of India, 25th November 1900 to C.J.Maltby’ Maker’s mark of Carrington & Co. 130 Regent Street, London. Hallmarked London 1899.
