A Very Fine Safavid Pierced Steel Quatrefoil Panel.
With a band of extremely delicate reciprocal trefoil designs around the rim, traces of gilding.
The inscription reads:
‘ya Muhammad’ O Muhammad.

Iran.
Second half 17th Century or Early 18th Century.
