A very fine artist's easel cane with a stag antler handle.
The ebonised shaft unfurls into a tripod stand, with a hindleg holding two metal pins that can be removed and positioned in the range of pinholes in the two forelegs to support a canvas at the desired height.
The handle has a silver collar with the original artist's monogram and the year "1920", and the shaft is fitted with a metal ferrule.
