Tom Dudley (1857-1935) was born in York and first trained as an architect. He took lessons from William James Boddy and is known for his townscapes mainly painted in watercolours. His work was shown in public and private galleries throughout the U.K.
"St. Olave's and St. Mary's Abbey, York" is a watercolour measuring 9"x 6". It is signed and inscribed lower left with the title and is framed giving an overall size of 16"x 11".
