About

McTague of Harrogate

McTague of Harrogate are dealers in quality oil paintings, watercolours and rare prints. They have been working from their Gallery in central Harrogate for over 40 years.

McTague of Harrogate specialise in landscape paintings of a Yorkshire and Northern interest. They also deal in rare prints, including old English Sporting and animal prints, decorative engravings and etchings from the early 20th century. This gives the Gallery a unique traditional yet eclectic feel.

The Gallery was established in 1981 in the Spa town of Harrogate in Yorkshire by Paul McTague. Paul was inspired and guided in the early years by his late mother, Norah and his late father George, who was a renowned academic, lecturer in Fine Art, and conservator.

The Gallery was elected to membership of the British Antique Dealers' Association in 2021.
