A rare deceptive or Temperance tumbler, engraved, MW, cut with wide flutes and fluted underneath, the lower half stained yellow.
English circa 1800.
Height 9 centimetres.
Intended to look as though the glass has a measure of some alcoholic beverage when the user may have been drinking water. Very uncommon.
This glass has a few minor chips and one larger one to the edge of the base fluting.
