Of grand proportions a 19th Century oak armchair retaining its original Moroccan leather upholstery.

English Circa 1880.

Standing almost 4 feet tall this imposing chair is in wonderful original condition. Having a scrolled leather deep buttoned back framed by imbricated carved uprights leading to padded leather armrests above turned supports carved and scrolled arms flanking a buttoned seat, raised on ornately leaf carved bell front feet and castors stamped JC&S. 

The leather in very good condition for age with a wonderful patina and good colouring to the timber.

A rare designed armchair retaining its original leather upholstery making this a very desirable and slightly quirky armchair.
