A rare handmade basting spoon in ‘Rose Pattern’ made in London in 1980 by C J Vander of London.The beautiful ‘Rose Pattern’ was first produced in the late George III period c1820 and is difficult to find.This lovely spoon was made by C J Vander who were the finest flatware makers post Second World War.It is very weighty with crisp decoration.
