Small Georgian Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard.

An Extremely Good Quality Late 18th Century Hepplewhite Period , Georgian, Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard, Of Rare Small Proportions, Having Elegant Shaped Top Over Three Well Figured Drawers Retaining Original Brass Handles, Raised On Elegant Square Tapered Legs With Original Spade Feet.

A fabulous, charming 18th century Georgian mahogany sideboard which is the perfect size when it comes to being both functional, but also at the same time practical in terms of not overpowering a room with its length or depth like so many Georgian sideboards which you will find.

Overall it retains a lovely untouched colour and patina showing that it has been both well used, but also well loved and looked after throughout the many years of its life. Indeed it’s amazing to think that it is very much as fit for purpose today, as it was the day that it was made.

As with all our items this sideboard has been attended to in our workshops by our highly trained, skilled, traditional antique furniture restorers, before being offered for sale, meaning it has received any work required to ensure it is ready to place straight into the home, including a natural wax polish.

Circa 1780.

Height 35in.
Width 54.5in.
Depth 25in.
