George III period satinwood secretaire bookcase / display cabinet.
An exceptional Sheraton period secretaire bookcase. In West Indian satinwood with partridge wood banding. This fine bookcase stands on elegant splay feet above which are three long oak lined drawers and a secretaire drawer with an interior of pigeon holes, small drawers and a baize lined writing surface. The upper section with ached glazed doors, an adjustable shelved interior and a moulded inlaid cornice atop. The bookcase retains a superb colour and is in excellent condition throughout.
