A rare Charles II carved oak coffer of unusually small proportions; the lift-up lid opening to reveal a candlebox above a panelled front crisply carved with roundels to the frieze and flowers to the centre of the twin panels, the moulded stiles are decorated with a diaper pattern; raised on stile feet and with panelled ends and back.
