A fine Spanish silver(91.5% pure)made c1970 by Vera Orfebres of Madrid.The elephant is hand cast and chased (not filled) and beautifully detailed.It was made by Vera Orfebres of Madrid who made some of the finest silver animal models 50 years ago.We have another silver model elephant (marginal differences)by the same maker and also a mother and her baby .It is in excellent condition.
