A silver gilt Nuremberg Beaker circa 1680, the maker Hans Reinhold Muhl (master 1654, died 1692) – Rosenberg Vol 3, page 2310 No 4235. The decoration of the piece is something of a throwback to earlier pineapple cups. The piece measures 6.5 cms; it is of good gauge and weighs 3 ozs approx.
