A silver and parcel gilt ladies size Tankard, Augsburg mark 1664 to 1669, the maker Christoph Leipzig; made in the ‘auricular’ style typical of this period and with pretty shell ( a symbol of purification) decoration around the body; the piece is 9 cms tall, and weighs 12 ozs approx.
