A rare silk purse set with enamel plaques depicting Louis XV (1710-1774) & Marie Leczinska (1703-1768).
This purse would have been made to celebrate the Royal couples marriage in 1725.
The silk purse is in fine condition, only lacking the long cord that would have closed & suspend the purse.
French, Limoges, c.1725.
An almost identical example can be found in the Tassen Museum, Amsterdam (sadly now closed).
