1814 – 1824
Printed interlaced ‘L’s and fleur-de Lys mark to the saucer trace of mark to the cup. Various cursive incised marks.

Decorated with classical, allegorical figures and others in contemporary rustic costume divided by panels of husks and paterae on a green ground, within ciselé gilt borders.

A design cup of closely related form described as a tasse à chocolat is illustrated by Tamara Préaud, The Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory, Alexandre Brongniart and the Triumph of Art and Industry, 1800-1847, The Bard Graduate Centre, 1997, p. 268, no. 77.
