An unusual and fun set set of six deco cocktail sticks in original Asprey box. The cocktail sticks are fully assayed for 1934, the year the first Belisha Beacons were introduced into the UK. The hallmarks are marked for Birmingham with makers mark for Barker Brother Silver Ltd, over stamped illegibly for what I believe is Asprey’s mark. The sticks are made of sterling silver and an early plastic such as Bakelite. Condition is excellent with minor discolouration to some of the orange “beacons”.
