A handsome set of eight (6+2) George III Chippendale period mahogany dinging chairs; the serpentine cresting rail carved with acanthus leaves above a carved and splat and a stuff-over seat; having bold outscrolling arms and raised on square moulded legs which have C scroll brackets and are united by an H-stretcher.

Circa 1760

The dining chairs have been professionally reupholstered using traditional techniques and have a top cover of Susan Deliss's bursa fabric.
