A charming set of six English late 18th century elm dining chairs, having attractive X splat backs with crossbanding over drop in seats.
Raised on elegant square tapering legs, retaining exceptional rich colour and patina throughout.
This beautiful and functional set of chairs are a cross between formal and country dining chairs.
Constructed from wonderful elm which is a wood usually used for rustic country made pieces.
They also feature mahogany cross banding and x design stretchers which is very much a feature of formal dining chairs.
They are in a good stable condition and have been very recently upholstered, so they are ready to go straight into the home of any prospective purchasers.
