A rare set of twelve late nineteenth century silver three prong/tine silver dessert forks made in London in 1888 and 1902. Eleven are made in London in 1888 by Wakely and Wheeler and one is made in London in 1902 by Charles Boyton. The eleven are crested to the reverse with a Wolf Passant/Heraldic Tiger and the single one to match is plain. The Wolf Passant /Heraldic tiger crest is used by members of several families. The forks are of a good colour and weight. Nineteenth century three prong dessert forks are fairly rare in today’s market and these are good examples.
