A superb set of 12 eighteenth century silver tablespoons/soup spoons in old English pattern made in London in 1795 by William Sumner. Each is beautifully engraved with the original owner’s family crest of a running hare with sheaves of corn in its mouth. They are all in excellent condition and as good a complete set of eighteenth century spoons as one is likely to find.
