This charming pair of aquatints by Samuel Howitt, "Grouse Shooting" and "Pheasant Shooting" date from 1803 and were published by Laurie & Whittle, 53, Fleet Streert, London.
Each measures 10"x 14" and is framed in a good period hogarth frame giving an overall size of 12"x 16".
They are fine early impressions with excellent unfaded colour. A lovely old pair of shooting prints.
