This is quite an extraordinary woolwork.  It is of a large size and depicts ten flags around the central porthole.  The portside view of a two-masted ship under sail on a blue and white wavy sea. Below the porthole and flags is a ship's anchor and above a crown. Below the anchor is a rose, a thistle and a shamrock, and a banner in orange reading "Good Luck".

Dimensions: Frame: 28 1/4  inches high x 28 1/4 inches x 1 inch deep.

To either side are two marble columns covered mostly with drapes in a deep red and above a series of different National symbols.  To the left is the symbol of the Isle of Man- The three armored legs known in Manx as ny tree cassyn ("the three legs") on a red ground.

To the right side is the flag of The City of London which is the St George's Cross on a white background with a red sword in the upper hoist canton. In the central top portion are three symbols on a light blue ground. To the left, is an armored arm, bent at the elbow holding up a large clay pipe.  In the center is a red heart valentine with a cross and anchor behind it, representing Faith, Hope, and Charity.  The third symbol on the right is the Irish harp with a female figure on the front. The whole is surrounded by braided wool in red, white, and blue.
