Pair of Late 19th Century Carved Ho Ho Birds.

An interesting and well carved pair of Ho Ho birds, probably fragments from a wall mirror or item of furniture, now presented as able to hang on the wall. Ho Ho birds were normally found on 18th century hand carved gilded mirrors, often carved and decorated in the Chinese taste. There is patinated chipping on the tail feathers.
