A fine quality and rare 18th century Dutch cherry wood pipe case, containing its original long stemmed pipe, indistinctly stamped GONSSEA a A? The case, with a brass hinge and opening brass ratchet, has a turned stem with delicate carved decoration. The long stemmed pipe exactly fits in the interior and has a small angled bowl and long stem. It is made of excellent quality mahogany and has a lovely dark rich colour and patination throughout.
