18th Century Sycamore Circular Platter.
A good well worn 18th century Georgian Period sycamore food platter of sturdy form, having a rounded rim and sunken centre, showing an uneven grain through use and with a slightly concave outer edge. The whole has a pleasing pale colour and patination.
Provenance: from a Welsh private collection and before that from Anne Marchant collection.
