Early 18th Century Laburnum Wood Pricket Candlestick.
A good example of an early 18th century pricket candlestick in well turned laburnum wood, having a pointed iron pricket and a tin drip pan. The well turned body, of attractive proportions and of tapered form, terminates in a conical double stepped foot. The whole has an excellent colour and grain in heart and sap wood and has original patination.
English Circa 1720.
