18th Century Fruitwood Wine Taster.
An 18th century Georgian Period single handled fruitwood wine taster known as a taste de vin, which were attractive small bowls with a single lug handle. They were used for tasting wine and are difficult to find these days. It has excellent pole lathe turnings. The whole has a lovely rich colour and good patination.
