A pair of Scottish oyster forks, contained in their original velvet lined case, having decorative and shaped twin prongs and mother of pearl handles. Each fork is stamped with the registration number 293163. The case is stamped, Rattray, Silversmith, Nethergate, Dundee. James Rattray, silversmith and jeweller, at number 32, was founded in 1850 and survived to the year 2000.
