An unusual circular boxwood pill stand with its accompanying hand held rounder, which is the first time we have had a pill stand that makes only one size of pills and has an unusual separate pill rounder. They were usually used by chemists, so after the pill was cut from the pill machine, it was placed under the pill rounder, and by moving the rounder in a circular motion it became round. It was then placed in a pill silverer for coating. The whole has a honey colour and patination.
