A finely carved early 19th century coquilla nut scent bottle of slender proportions, having on one side an early string instrument called a lute, and probably a flute with a quiver containing arrows in the centre. On the other side is a beautifully carved basket of flowers with two entwined love birds. At the top is a small carved screw stopper in full working order. The whole is in amazing and excellent condition, and has a lovely mellow colour and patination.
