A well constructed and solid dug out vessel, which is a Tibetan yak milk jug, having a cylindrical body, that is in one piece of wood, carved with an integral handle. It has horizontal bands united by a carved herring bone plat, with a hole at the top on each side for a rope handle. It shows extensive ware and use and has a lovely patinated surface and colour.
