An excellent Elizabethan Tudor Period chip carved oak panel, having a central lozenge, Tudor rose to each corner and all within a plain border. The panel has a small shrinkage crack, commensurate with its age, is of sturdy construction and has a wide chamfer on all four sides to the reverse. The whole has a rich dark colour and original patination.
