An interesting brass bound staved pine bucket in the form of a piggin, having a shaped raised handle with a nail hole for hanging on a wall. It was probably used for grain when feeding animals and would make an ideal wastepaper container. It is well constructed and made of 26 vertical staves, with a pine circular base. The whole has good rich colour and patination.
