An interesting Welsh beech spoon, having an historic dark painted finish. The circular top, with a carved flower head, is above an open triangular centre section, with an elongated open heart above a circular bowl. It has historic chipping and the surface has carved zig zag decoration. The whole is made from a single piece of wood, as often found in Welsh love spoons. It has minor restoration to both sides.
