A well used and interesting circular Asian dug out bowl, across the grain with pronounced chisel marks on the interior. The bowl must have had great sentimental value, as a piece has been let in the side, held by two large iron staples. The base has a shrinkage crack, again repaired with two more staples. The whole has a medium colour and retains a patination.
Asian Circa 1820
