A fine quality mahogany snuff shoe, having a most unusual fold over fastening, instead of simulated laces. The brass hinged lid is decorated with brass pique, as is the underneath, and it has a protruding heal. There are four lines of very fine brass rope twist wire surrounding the sole and on the lid. The whole has an excellent rich colour and patination.
