19th Century Oak Snuff Box.

A circular signed and dated oak snuff box of turned and rounded form, having a fitted lid. It is centred with a circular silver recessed cartouche with an engraved border and initials W.L. The interior is signed J. Laithwaite January 16th. 1908. The whole has a dark rich colour and excellent patination.
