A well shaped 19th century fruitwood Welsh love spoon, having a concave form with a rounded top and a heart above a house window motif, with carved initials M.W. under. The shaped stem is carved with a diamond and arrow inlaid with red wax, above a pointed elongated bowl. The whole is surrounded by delicate chip carving. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
