A well constructed late Victorian oak letter rack, pen and ink stand, having a back with two compartments, that has pierced brass panels above two glass hinged top ink pots and a pen tray. The whole, on a moulded serpentine and shaped platform base, is raised on four squat bun feet. It has an original paper label for 18/6p. The whole has a good honey colour and patination.
