A lovely Welsh pear wood spoon, carved from a single piece of fruitwood, having a rounded bowl and a shaped pierced end for hanging. It is inscribed in ink on the handle, Mary Jones's Spoon February 12 1850. The whole is in pristine condition, of a faded honey colour and has good patination.
