An attractive apple wood quaich, having four vestigial lugs and noticeable chisel marks between the lugs, one of which had been partially broken at an angle and re-glued. The rim has an incised line, the bowl has a flat mark to opposing sides and the base has faint carved initials W.G. The whole has a pleasing honey colour and retains a patination.
